Mr. Nisar A. Memon

Mr. Memon has been at the forefront of Pakistan’s water policy since 2003, when he chaired the Parliamentary Committee on Water Resources, leading to the landmark recommendation for the Diamer-Basha Dam. Internationally, he has represented Pakistan in key regional forums, including the Abu Dhabi Dialogue, SAWI, and the Indus Forum. In 2014, he founded the Water Environment Forum Pakistan, which promotes sustainable solutions in the water-energy-food nexus and climate change awareness. A former Federal Minister, IBM Pakistan CEO, and Chairman of Engro Chemicals, he brings unmatched experience across government, business, and civil society.He continues to shape national policy and education as a board member of FAST University and the US-Pakistan Center for Advanced Studies in Water.
