Naseer Memon is a development professional and a consultant on climate change induced natural disasters, community resilience and public policy. Currently he is working as a consultant on an assignment on flood rehabilitation program. Previously he has worked for leading organizations in the humanitarian, development and corporate sectors and academia in Pakistan for over 20 years. He has held leadership positions in reputable organizations, including The World Bank, Asian Disaster Preparedness Centre (ADPC), Engro Energy Ltd, Strengthening Participatory Organization (SPO), Leadership for Environment and Development (LEAD) Pakistan, Premier Oil International, WWF Pakistan. He successfully led and transformed organizations through his strategic leadership, as he chaired first national network of humanitarian organisations “National Humanitarian Network-NHN” and introduced SDGs-aligned CSR in private sector in Pakistan. He has developed business plans, designed and executed multi-sector programs, built partnerships, engaged variety of stakeholders and developed monitoring and impact evaluation frameworks for various organizations. He has authored books and writes regularly on the issues pertaining to climate change, natural disasters, human development and people-centred development. He has been speaking at national and international forums as an expert on aforementioned subjects. He also serves on various high profile Committees and Boards. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Promoting Resilient Preparedness (PRP), Sindh Rural Support Organisation (SRSO), Indus Resource Centre (IRC), Thar Foundation. He also remained a member of Prime Minister's Committee on Green Financing.
